Colonel Bharat Haladi has over 40 years of experience in Leadership, Operations, and Human Resource Management. He has graduated from the National Defence Academy, the Indian Military Academy, and the Defence Institute of Armament Technology in India.<br /> He served with the Indian Army as an officer from the year 1980 to 2004 and retired from the service in the rank of Colonel. In the army, he was a Radar and Guided Missile expert, who has commanded a combat regiment. Since the year 2004, he has gained vast corporate experience at senior levels. As Vice President with a construction company, he was responsible for Quality Control, obtaining certification of processes at the company as compliant to ISO 9001, and for establishing HR policies and procedures at the company. As Vice President and Chief HR Officer of a large ITeS company of the Tata Group which had over 20,000 employees, he was responsible for all the various facets of HR at the company including HR strategy to support the business, recruitment of senior profiles, employee engagement, balanced scorecard, performance assessment, talent management, and training at all levels up to the mentoring of Vice Presidents. He was also simultaneously the Chief Information Security Officer of the company, responsible for compliance with information security standards. He reported to the CEO and was a significant contributor to the leadership team. After superannuation from the role of CHRO in the year 2016, he has been assisting a number of companies in the identification of leadership potential, leadership development, and career planning for senior management. He is a nominated member of the CXO Advisory Council of the PMI Pune Deccan India Chapter.
